Description

Embark on a PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course and dive into the world of underwater exploration. Learn how to safely navigate and explore shipwrecks, gaining skills in buoyancy control, navigation, and the use of specialized equipment. Begin with knowledge development, either online or in-class, covering the theory behind wreck diving, the history of shipwrecks, and their impact on marine life. Understand the importance of respecting wrecks as historical artifacts and ecological habitats. Then, head to open water for 4 dives, where you'll practice the skills learned in class. Navigate a wreck, use dive reels for safety, and safely enter and exit a wreck. Learn to manage hazards like entanglement, poor visibility, and restricted access. Gain specialized skills that will help in navigating complex environments and increase your overall diving proficiency. Learn how to explore wrecks with respect for the site, its history, and its marine life.

• Participants must be at least a PADI Adventure Diver or equivalent. Minimum age is 15 years old. The course takes 2-3 days to complete.
