Description

Visit Lahangan Sweet, a natural tourist destination in Karangasem, Bali, and see the spectacular view of Mount Agung at sunrise or sunset. Then, head to the vast expanse of grassland at Savana Tianyar. Start your day with a visit to Lahangan Sweet, a natural tourist destination located in Karangasem, Bali. This place is famous for offering a spectacular view of Mount Agung, especially at sunrise or sunset. To reach Lahangan Sweet, go through an uphill road and sometimes quite steep, so it is better to use a powerful vehicle or hire a local motorcycle taxi service. There are relatively cheap entrance fees and parking fees. There are small stalls and simple facilities around the location. Next, visit Savana Tianyar, a vast expanse of grassland located in Tianyar Village, Kubu District, Karangasem Regency, Bali. This place is one of the hidden gems in Bali that is becoming popular because of its unique scenery and contrasts with Bali's destinations in general which are dominated by beaches and rice fields. One of the main attractions is the majestic background of Mount Agung, the highest mountain in Bali, which makes this place very photogenic. Sometimes you can see livestock such as cows or horses being released freely, adding a natural and calm feel to this savannah. The best time to visit is during the dry season (around May–September) when the grass turns yellow and creates the feel of African savannah. Visit in the morning or evening when the soft sunlight makes the view more beautiful and not too hot. The location is quite far from the city center like Denpasar or Ubud, so it takes about 2–3 hours to travel. The road to the location can be accessed by two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, but can be a bit rocky in some parts. There are not many tourist facilities such as stalls or public toilets, so it is recommended to bring your own supplies.
