Description

Begin your adventure in Tabanan Regency, Bali, specifically in the Baturiti District. As you ascend Mount Adeng, one of the highest peaks on the island at 1,826 meters above sea level, immerse yourself in the dense tropical rainforest. Marvel at the tall trees forming a canopy, which can obscure the hiking trail. The initial trail is relatively gentle, but then becomes steep and slippery, especially after rain. The trail has many forks that can lead to loss. It is highly recommended to hike with a local or experienced guide, as the numerous branching trails can lead to loss. Although the climb to the summit is relatively short (around 2 hours), the climb to Mount Adeng is quite challenging and can be classified as difficult due to the steep and often slippery trail. It is recommended to wear long pants to protect yourself from leeches that may be found in the dense forest. Along the way, discover temples and spiritual sites, including the Pucak Adeng Temple at the summit. Admire the rich flora, known as a habitat for various types of orchids and rare tropical plants that only grow in the area. This mountain is considered sacred, so it is important to be mindful of your words and be respectful during the climb.
