Begin your day with a visit to Pura Tirta Empul, a significant Hindu Balinese water temple near Tampaksiring. Explore the temple’s three sections: the outer courtyard, the middle courtyard, and the inner sanctum, where the sacred spring is located.   • Visitors entering Tirta Empul Temple are kindly requested to wear proper Balinese attire. For women, please note that joining the purification ritual is not recommended during the menstruation period, in harmony with Balinese and Hindu traditions. Guests joining the purification will need to rent an additional sarong, which includes access to a locker. We also suggest bringing some cash, as certain places may only accept cash payments. Kindly bring a change of clothes and a towel with you.
