Description

Welcome to the pande silver class, here you will be taught how to process pure silver, from the first process to the final finishing process, the process of melting, solidifying, forming, and polishing. The melting process is the process of melting pure silver according to the item to be processed at a temperature above 900 degrees Celsius. The hammering process is the process of solidifying the melted silver to make it stronger and less likely to break or crack. The shaping process is the process of shaping the silver to its desired thickness and width. The polishing process is the process of polishing the silver that has been shaped to your desired shape to make it look even shinier and more attractive. Pande Silver Sidemen stands on generations of Balinese craftsmanship rooted in the culturally rich village of Sidemen. Long before welcoming our first silver class guests on June 15, 2023, our family had been known in the community as “Pande Mas”—a gold workshop established by our grandfather and ancestors. For decades, our artisans honed their skills creating gold jewelry, a tradition respected throughout the Sidemen area.
