Description

Experience one of Bali’s most sacred purification rituals through an authentic Water Blessing Ceremony at the Samsara Living Museum. Nestled near the holy natural spring of Telaga Tista, this unique experience allows you to connect with Bali’s spiritual heritage in a meaningful and peaceful setting. Telaga Tista is a 5,000m² natural spring that flows from the underground streams of Mount Agung. For generations, the local community has believed this spring to be highly sacred, using its holy water (tirta) for religious ceremonies, purification, and spiritual renewal. The water is regarded as a blessing from the universe—bringing clarity, harmony, and positive energy. Your Water Blessing ritual is led by a revered Balinese holyman, Ida Mangku, who guides you through a sequence of traditional prayers and offerings. The ceremony begins with a moment of worship, honoring the divine forces of nature and expressing gratitude for the balance of the universe. You will then be invited to receive holy water for cleansing the mind, heart, and spirit—symbolizing the release of negativity and the welcoming of renewed energy. Dressed in a traditional Balinese temple costume, you will participate in offering preparation, learn the symbolic meaning behind each ritual element, and immerse yourself in the calming natural surroundings of the museum. After the ceremony, enjoy a traditional Balinese meal (ajengan yasa) served with warmth and hospitality. This is not a performance—it is a genuine spiritual experience shared respectfully with visitors who seek grounding, purification, and a deeper understanding of Balinese Hindu traditions.
