Description

Begin your adventure with an evening pickup from your hotel in Bali. Pickup times vary depending on your location for your convenience. You will be transferred to Gilimanuk Port, where our local team will assist you with ferry tickets and boarding. The ferry ride to Ketapang Port in Java takes about one hour. Once you arrive in Java, continue drive to Paltuding, the basecamp for your Mount Ijen hike. At basecamp, your experienced guide will give a briefing, provide necessary hiking gear, and explain the route. The hike starts around 1:45 AM and takes approximately 1.5 hours to reach the summit. At the summit, you will descend about 900 meters into the crater to witness the Blue Fire-a rare natural phenomenon caused by burning sulfur gases. Since visibility depends on weather and volcanic activity, it cannot be guaranteed. Afterward, you will return to the summit to watch a stunning sunrise and enjoy panoramic views of the world’s largest acidic crater lake. Your guide will lead you back to basecamp for a short rest. Then, you will return to Ketapang Port to catch the ferry back to Bali. Upon arrival at Gilimanuk Port, continue transfer you back to your accommodation, arriving between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, depending on your drop-off point. Bali is 1 hour ahead of Java. Tour Itinerary *Pickup from your Bali hotel or meeting point and transfer to Gilimanuk Harbor. *21:30-22:00 PM Ferry crossing from Bali to Java (about 1 hour). *00:00-00:15 AM Medical check-up and health certificate (required for entry). *01:00-01:15 AM Arrive at Paltuding Basecamp, receive briefing and rest. *01:45 AM Start the 1.5-hour moderate hike to the summit of Mount Ijen. *03:00 AM Reach crater rim. If safe and approved by your guide, descend 900 meters into the crater to see Blue Fire. Important: Descent allowed only if safe and supervised. Not suitable for guests with asthma, heart conditions, or fear of heights. At the crater, you will: -See the rare Blue Fire (weather permitting). -Watch sulfur miners at work. -Learn about the volcano’s history and geology. -Enjoy views of the unique volcanic landscape and acidic crater lake. *04:00-04:30 AM Hike to a viewpoint to watch the sunrise. *05:00-06:00 AM Optional coffee or tea while enjoying the view (if conditions allow). *06:00 AM Begin the descent back to basecamp. *07:00-07:30 AM Rest before departure. *07:30-08:00 AM Depart for Bali Island. *15:00-16:30 PM Arrive at your Bali accommodation or drop-off point. Important Information

• Every first friday of the month Mount Ijen closed (not every friday). The trek up to the Ijen Crater can be physically challenging, so it is recommended for those with a moderate level of fitness. Blue Fire is not guaranteed deppend status activity of vulcano. May be that other participants will joined. The tour starts in the mid night please make sure fit condition. Please be prepare for long journey. Bring warm clothing, long pants for the early morning weather ( Temperature about 7-13 Celsius ). Kindly put your whatsapp number for better communications.
