Day 1 Bali Island - Ferry to Java - Banyuwangi (Ijen Crater Area) Your journey begins with a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Bali, followed by a scenic drive toward Gilimanuk Harbor. Enjoy sweeping views of Bali’s west coast as you head to the ferry terminal. After boarding the ferry, you’ll cross the Bali Strait an experience in itself as you move from the island of Bali to the island of Java. Upon arrival at Ketapang Harbor in Banyuwangi, you will continue the drive to your hotel located near the Ijen Crater area. This region is known for its lush forests, cool mountain air, and peaceful rural atmosphere. Once you check in, take some time to relax and prepare for the early-morning adventure ahead. A restful night is essential, as the Ijen blue fire hike begins before dawn. Day 2 Midnight Hike to Ijen Crater - Blue Flames (Blue Fire) - Transfer to Mount Bromo Your second day begins long before sunrise as you travel to the Ijen Crater basecamp. The legendary Ijen blue fire a natural phenomenon caused by burning sulfuric gases can only be seen in the dark, making the pre-dawn hike both thrilling and unforgettable. While sightings cannot be guaranteed due to weather and volcanic conditions, the trek itself is one of the most iconic volcano hikes in Indonesia. After hiking to the crater rim, you’ll witness the first light of day illuminating the stunning turquoise crater lake. Once you descend from the crater, enjoy a breakfast stop before beginning the journey to Mount Bromo. Day 3 Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour - Crater Hike - Drop-off Options Your final day starts early with a thrilling jeep ride across the famous Sea of Sand in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
