Sightings occur approximately 30% of the time, depending on weather conditions, sea state, and seasonal factors. Start your adventure by meeting your guide at the designated office or pickup point in the main tourist area of Nusa Penida. If you’re coming from Bali, you can take a fast boat to the island in the morning and head straight to the meeting point to join the tour. After a short briefing, gear up and head out to snorkel at three breathtaking locations. The highlight is Manta Bay, where you may swim alongside majestic manta rays in their natural habitat. Continue to Crystal Bay and Gamat Bay, known for their clear waters, vibrant coral gardens, and colorful marine life. Following your snorkeling session, enjoy a break before heading to the island’s tranquil mangrove area. Documentation: We will send the link from our GoPro footage to the email you used for booking, within 8 hours after the activity starts. Roads on Nusa Penida can be narrow and bumpy. Sea conditions may be choppy—please eat beforehand and consider taking seasickness medication. You should feel confident swimming in open ocean with waves and swell. If we can’t access Manta Point due to weather, we’ll switch to a safer snorkeling spot. Total duration includes boat and land transfers (varies by option). Snorkeling lasts approx. 2 hours.
