Important Note: Manta ray sightings at Manta Bay are not guaranteed due to the wild and unpredictable nature of the area. Sightings occur approximately 30% of the time, depending on weather conditions, sea state, and seasonal factors. Your journey typically begins with a boat ride to Manta Bay, one of the island’s most renowned snorkeling spots. This sheltered cove is famous for frequent sightings of graceful manta rays gliding effortlessly through the water. Here, you'll have the chance to swim alongside these gentle giants and encounter tropical fish, vibrant coral, and maybe even a sea turtle or two. Next, continue to Crystal Bay, another snorkeling paradise. Known for its calm conditions and excellent visibility, the bay is home to colorful coral reefs and diverse marine species. It's also a chance to see sea turtles, which are often seen gracefully gliding through the water alongside schools of tropical fish. The third snorkeling destination is Gamat Bay, a more secluded and tranquil spot ideal for relaxed underwater exploration. Dive into vivid coral gardens and observe schools of fish darting through the reefs. The calm waters here make it perfect for both beginners and seasoned snorkelers. After your snorkeling adventures, the tour continues with a visit to the west side of Nusa Penida, famous for its dramatic coastal views and natural rock formations (only included in the land tour option). First up is Kelingking Beach, often referred to as 'T-Rex Beach' due to the shape of its cliffs. From the viewpoint, soak in sweeping views of turquoise water and white sand far below. Adventurous visitors can take a challenging hike down to the beach for a truly secluded escape. Then, discover the beauty of Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) a natural archway formed by a collapsed cave.
