Description

Discover the magnificent Marine Park of Menjangan, coral gardens, giant sea fans, and schools of many different species of fish. Enjoy many macro dives, seahorses, mandarin fish, and frogfish. Learn to dive from the boat and how to manage the logistics of running a dive center. Explore Biorock Pemuteran, the largest coral reef restoration project in Indonesia, initiated in 2000 by two scientists (Professor Wolf H. Hibertz and Doctor Thomas Goreau) with local support. Using the process of 'Electro-Mineral Accretion,' which is sustainable thanks to photovoltaic generators, this process significantly increases coral growth. As of today, there are over 115 artificial structures located along the Pemuteran coastline. These metal structures are now almost completely colonized by coral and attract a wide variety of fish and invertebrates. Enjoy easy access from the beach for snorkelers and scuba divers. See colorful small and medium-sized fish inhabit the reef, including blackspot snapper, barracuda, butterflyfish, damselfish, and more. It's also a great spot for macro enthusiasts.
