Description

Your visit to the “Island of the Gods” would not be complete without a cooking class in the traditional Balinese food. The Balinese Cooking Class are located in Laplapan Village and all of their classes are conducted in a traditional Balinese-style kitchen that is typically found in the Balinese villages. The environment is safe and friendly and the English speaking local guides are there to help you. Balinese food has a specific character and spices have a significant role in creating the unique flavor. You will learn the traditional methods for preparing Balinese food, including how the Balinese utilize the special tropical plants, roots, and herbs found on the “Island of the Gods”. The special Cooking Class Program will guide you through the Balinese menu (Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian menu). All courses will be made by yourself and then you will have the opportunity to savor the food. This will include the opportunity to explore the local or traditional market, meet the farmers and learn how they grow rice, and finally, you will learn how to make many delicious menus from authentic Balinese recipes and ingredients

• 1. The cooking class will take approximately 2 hours during the activity 2. In choosing the menu for the cooking class, guests can select either a vegetarian or non-vegetarian menu option. 3. Pick-up is only available in the Ubud area; locations outside of this will incur an extra charge.
