Description

Discover the heart of Balinese spirituality with this immersive cultural experience. Guided by locals, you’ll not only take part in the Melukat purification ritual but also gain deeper insights into Balinese life. Begin with a warm welcome at a traditional Balinese family compound (full package only), where you’ll learn about Balinese architecture and philosophy. Join a hands-on offering-making workshop, creating your own canang sari while understanding its symbolic meaning. Refresh with herbal tea and local snacks before heading to the temple. Choose between Tirta Empul Temple, one of Bali’s most famous holy spring temples, or the more serene Mengening Temple, surrounded by nature and away from crowds. Dressed in a sarong, you’ll follow your guide through each step of the purification, learning the ritual’s meaning and history. This experience offers something for every traveler — from those who want a full cultural immersion with transport and workshops, to those who prefer a simple, self-arranged temple ritual.
