Description

Sleep under the stars on a 2-day camping trip to Mt. Batur. Enjoy a relaxing transfer from your accommodation to the mountain, build a roaring campfire with your guide, and hike up to the top to see the brilliant colors of the sunrise. Begin your trip with a pickup from your hotel in the afternoon in an air-conditioned car or directly meet at supplier's facility (depeneding on options selected). Head to the quiet village of Serongga at the base of Mount Batur. After arriving, wander around the town, meet the locals, and enjoy amazing views of the mountain. As the sun sets, help your guide grill some fish and prepare a Balinese dinner. After dinner, relax by a warm campfire before heading to bed. Feel and breathe in the fresh mountain air as you wake up to chase the sunrise. Begin your hike at around 4 A.M., after a short introduction and safety briefing from your guide. After a 1.5-hour trek to the highest volcanic crater in Bali, relax and marvel at the beautiful views of the sunrise and surrounding landscape. Before hiking back down, enjoy some free time to walk around the volcano's crater and cross a hill of lava and black sand. Trek back down the mountain, and then soothe away your aches and pains at a natural hot spring before returning to your hotel in Bali. Before and after your hike, enjoy the exclusive use of Mt. Batur Lounge, the only villa-style lounge around with clean, modern toilets and a comfortable shower facility.
