Hard Rock Cafe
Bali
It all began with Eric Clapton’s guitar. When he traded his guitar for a reserved spot at his favourite table at the American diner in London in the early 1970s, nobody knew that this gesture would spark what was to become a world-renowned, ever growing brand and chain of popular restaurants.
Nowadays, Hard Rock Café has over 170 branches in over 50 countries, one of which is in Bali.
If you’re feeling a little rock’n’roll, or just fancy being treated like a star, Hard Rock Café is the place to let loose and enjoy a decent meal. Food portions are generous and you can choose from a trustworthy menu of American classics, including hickory BBQ bacon cheeseburgers, fajitas, New York Strip Steak and Grilled Salmon. You can wash it all down with one of their famous cocktails (try the fruitpalooza) and perhaps indulge in a deliciously indulgent dessert. Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, thick milk shakes or a hot fudge brownie anyone?
Hard Rock is known for its top quality customer service and although the Bali restaurant can get a little busy, staff tend to be endlessly helpful, in the typical Balinese way. Although the meals are pricier than others available locally in the area, if you fancy some reliable Western food, you can’t go wrong with Hard Rock Café Bali.
Memorabilia includes a Jimi Hendrix jacket, Paul McCartney’s signed bass guitar, John Lennon’s suit from A Hard Day’s Night, and a hand written letter from Madonna.
