Directions to Jenggala
The Jenggala business venture brought together three different creative individuals, Brent Hesselyn, Wija Waworuntu and Jenggala, each with the core values of quality and design in their work. With these mutual aspirations to succeed they have grown and over the years incorporated other artists' work into their business. Jenggala is now a global business but stays loyal to the principles of creative design and great quality.
All products are made by hand on site in the factory in Bali. There are ranges of designs and artists are encouraged to be bold whilst remaining loyal to a Balinese essence. Although there are the mainstream pieces for purchase, clients can also request custom made items. There have thus far been 2700 designs created for international customers.
The clay bodies of all the items are perfected through the use of only the best quality raw materials and unique mixing formulas to create stoneware, terracotta and porcelain that will last a lifetime. There are currently eight kilns at the factory, in which the product is headed at such a high temperature the products are all fully water and heat resistant so perfect for the modern family's everyday use. As each piece is done by hand, there will be slight variation but there are high standards of quality control.
