Discover the birdlife of Bali on a guided bird watching tour through the countryside of Ubud. Walk along scenic trails, rice fields, and quiet village paths while observing a variety of bird species that inhabit the island’s rural landscapes.
Begin your experience at Campuhan Ridge Walk, a peaceful trail surrounded by hills, trees, and open landscapes. This area provides an excellent environment for spotting birds while enjoying views of Ubud’s natural scenery.
Continue through traditional rice fields and village areas where birds commonly gather near water channels and farmland. Your guide will help identify different species and explain their habitats, behaviors, and role in the local ecosystem.
The tour also includes a visit to Petulu Village, known for its population of herons that gather in the area. Here you may observe species such as Javan Pond Herons and other birds commonly found in Bali’s rice fields and wetlands.
