Begin your journey before dawn as you arrive at base camp for registration, a safety briefing, and a short ATV practice session. Once ready, ride directly toward the sunrise viewpoint, cruising through cool mountain air and peaceful early-morning surroundings. The quiet atmosphere before sunrise makes the experience even more special and exclusive.
Upon reaching the viewpoint, park your ATV and prepare to witness a breathtaking sunrise. As the first rays of light illuminate the sky in shades of orange and gold, enjoy your meal served right at the sunrise spot. Have breakfast (or early lunch-style meal) during sunrise, surrounded by panoramic views of the volcano and the serene Lake Batur, creating a truly unforgettable moment.
After sunrise, continue your adventure as you ride down to explore the famous black lava fields. Feel the thrill as you navigate across rugged volcanic rocks and dramatic landscapes formed by past eruptions. This off-road section is perfect for capturing epic photos and experiencing the raw beauty of Mount Batur up close.

- This is a private tour, ideal for couples, families, or small groups
- Batur Sunrise ATV is 1 hour away from Ubud Center, located on the west side of Mount Batur
- Pick-up time shown during booking is your actual pick-up time from your hotel
- Be prepared for a morning adventure—some pickups may start as early as 02:30 AM, depending on your selected timeslot and location
- Suitable for adults and teens with a moderate level of fitness; not recommended for pregnant guests or those with back/heart conditions
- ATV ride includes Batur sunrise viewpoint, jungle trails, black lava and black sand crossings, and uneven terrain—dress appropriately and expect to get wet and dirty
- Shower facilities and fresh towels are provided after the ATV ride
