Get picked up from your hotel by an English-speaking driver or meet at the base camp in Kintamani, near Mount Batur. Begin your adventure with a safety briefing and learn how to handle your ATV quad bike. No prior experience is needed—these powerful yet easy-to-ride ATVs are suitable for both beginners and seasoned riders.
Once you’re geared up, follow winding trails through lush forests, local villages, and scenic countryside before reaching the highlight of the tour: the black lava fields of Mount Batur. These vast, otherworldly landscapes were created by ancient eruptions, leaving behind dramatic slopes of hardened volcanic rock.
Ride across this unique terrain with the mighty Mount Batur towering above and Lake Batur shimmering in the distance. Your guide will lead you to the best viewpoints for photos, explain the history of the volcano, and ensure your safety throughout the journey.

- The tour uses a Honda Avanza (MPV) for a comfortable and private transfer experience
- BlackLava ATV Adventure is 1 hour away from Ubud Center, located on west side of Mount Batur
- Pick-up time shown during booking is your actual pick-up time from your hotel
- Be prepared for a morning adventure—some pickups may start as early as 07:00 AM, depending on your selected timeslot and location
- Suitable for adults and teens with a moderate level of fitness; not recommended for pregnant guests or those with back/heart conditions
