Description
Begin your 9-hour cultural adventure with a hotel pick-up at 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM in Ubud by a professional, English-speaking local guide who is knowledgeable in Balinese history, customs, and spirituality. Your journey starts with a 20-minute drive to the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terraces, where you will spend 1 hour walking along the lush, elevated paddies while learning about the traditional Subak irrigation system. Capture beautiful photos or try the optional jungle swing.
Next, enjoy a 20-minute ride to the holy Tirta Empul Temple, where you will spend 2 hours. With skip-the-line access, explore the temple’s ancient courtyards and sacred springs. If you wish, participate in the traditional water purification ritual, known as melukat, as your guide explains each step and its spiritual meaning in Balinese Hinduism. This moment offers a peaceful connection with centuries of local belief and devotion.
Continue with a 10-minute drive to a traditional Balinese house compound, where you’ll spend 1.5 hours gaining insight into the island’s family structure, ancestral shrines, and architectural philosophy. Learn how religion and community shape daily life in Bali, guided by local knowledge and real experiences shared by your host.
After a lunch break (at your own expense), travel 40 minutes through scenic countryside to reach the hidden Goa Raja Waterfall. Spend 1 hour in this tranquil natural setting, where a sacred cave and forested surroundings create a peaceful atmosphere. Your guide will explain the cultural and spiritual background of the site, rarely visited by mass tourism.
Finally, drive 20 minutes to Grudugan Waterfall, your last destination. Spend 1 hour relaxing, swimming, or simply enjoying nature before heading back to your hotel with a 1-hour drive.

Important Information
- For Shared Tour option, the meeting point is Bank BPD Bali Ubud (search on Google Maps).
For Private Tour and Custom Tour options, hotel pickup is included within the Ubud area.
Kindly download WhatsApp and provide an active number. Your guide will contact you before the tour via WhatsApp.
For Custom Tour option, you may select up to 5 attractions from our itinerary list ( main stop & other stops ). Final route can be discussed with your guide on the tour day.
Please note that visiting the waterfalls and rice terraces involves walking on uneven paths and climbing several steps. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended.
In case of extreme weather or heavy rain, the tour may be rescheduled or canceled by the organizer for safety reasons.
