  • This experience takes place at a sacred temple, so respectful behavior and modest clothing are required. A sarong and sash are required for temple entry and will be provided on-site Women who are currently menstruating are not permitted to enter Balinese temples according to local tradition. Please bring a change of clothes, small bag for wet clothes and a towel, as you will get wet during the purification ritual. The experience is guided by a local host, and other visitors may also be performing purification rituals at the temple. The experience focuses on cultural understanding and respectful participation, not religious conversion or formal religious ceremony.
