Description
You are called to immerse yourself in a meaningful spiritual journey led by a local guide (villager).
The experience begins at the meeting point nearby the temple lobby. You will be warmly welcomed by a local guide (villager) who speaks English fluently. From the ticket counter, enjoy a comfortable walk through the front yard of the sacred water temple renowned for its holy spring and tranquil atmosphere.
Your guide will explain the history, spiritual philosophy, regulations and prohibitions of the rituals. Before entering the temple, you will be assisted in putting on the traditional attire and following proper temple etiquette. Then, you will participate in a personal self-purification ritual, using holy spring water to symbolically cleanse the body, mind, and spirit to feel the deep spiritual heartbeat of Bali. Rituals continue as usual, reflecting the unwavering spirit of devotion and tradition. Then, take a guided temple walk to explore key shrines and learn their spiritual significance.
The purification and temple tour lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing ample time for reflection, prayer, and cultural immersion without rushing.

- Women who are menstruating are respectfully not permitted to participate in the melukat ritual
- Participants must dress respectfully; sarong will be provided
