Description
Begin your day with a comfortable transfer from Ubud or Karangasem to Kusamba Port, allowing you to save travel time compared to other departure points. From here, board a speedboat and cross the Badung Strait to reach the scenic island of Nusa Penida.
Important note: manta rays are wild animals, and sightings are not guaranteed. Encounters depend on weather, sea conditions, and seasonal factors. All snorkeling here is supervised, and touching or interacting with marine life is not allowed.
Upon arrival, meet the local team and prepare for a guided snorkeling experience under professional supervision. The first snorkeling stop is Manta Bay, in their environment where manta rays are sometimes seen.
Continue to Crystal Bay, known for its clear water, colorful coral reefs, and tropical fish. Enjoy snorkeling in good visibility conditions while following responsible snorkeling practices. The next stop is Gamat Bay, a calmer area surrounded by cliffs, ideal for relaxed snorkeling and observing marine life in a quieter setting.
After the snorkeling session, switch to a land visit at Kelingking Beach. From the viewpoint, take in panoramic views of dramatic limestone cliffs and turquoise waters, and capture photos of one of Nusa Penida’s most iconic landscapes.
At the end of the tour, return to Nusa Penida Harbor and travel back by speedboat to Kusamba Port, concluding a well-balanced half-day experience combining marine exploration and coastal scenery.

Important Information
- Meeting Point: Meet the reservation team at Gangga Express, Kusamba Port. Ferry departs from Bali at 07:00 AM.
Pick-Up Option: With Ubud/Amed transfer, pickup is between 05:15–05:30 AM. Pickup time will be confirmed via WhatsApp by 8:30 PM the day before the tour.
Your GoPro footage download link will be sent to the booking email within 8–12 hours after the activity begins.
Please note that roads on Nusa Penida are narrow and bumpy, sea conditions can be choppy. Eat beforehand and take seasickness medication if needed, available from our staff. Guests must be confident swimmers and comfortable in open ocean conditions.
If Manta Bay is inaccessible due to weather, we will visit a safe alternative snorkeling location. Total duration includes transfers, varying by option, with 2 hours of snorkeling.
