Description
Explore and experience a meaningful spiritual journey in Bali through this small-group sharing purification temple tour led by a licensed local guide.
The experience begins with a punctual 7:30 AM pickup at the front of Ubud Palace, where you will be warmly welcomed by your licensed English-speaking tour guide. From Ubud, enjoy a comfortable 35-minute drive through scenic Balinese countryside to a sacred water temple renowned for its holy spring and tranquil atmosphere.
Upon arrival, your guide will explain the history, spiritual philosophy, and rituals of the temple, before assisting you with traditional attire and proper temple etiquette. You will then participate in a personal self-purification ritual, using holy spring water to symbolically cleanse the body, mind, and spirit, followed by a guided temple walk to explore key shrines and learn their spiritual significance.
The purification and temple exploration last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing ample time for reflection, prayer, and cultural immersion without rushing. After completing the ritual, relax on a return drive back to the original meeting point at Ubud Palace, concluding the experience with a deeper understanding of Balinese Hindu traditions and a sense of inner calm.

Important Information
- Women who are menstruating are respectfully not permitted to participate in the melukat ritual.
Participants must dress respectfully; sarong will be provided.
Please bring a towel and a change of clothes if joining the purification.
The tour operates in most weather conditions, including light rain.
In case of severe weather for safety reasons, the tour may be rescheduled.
