Description
Travel with a heart and make a real impact on Bali's fragile ecosystem. Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from central Ubud, heading towards the serene Saba Beach, home to the Saba Asri Turtle Conservation Center.
Start your volunteer day with an educational briefing led by dedicated conservationists. You’ll learn about the different species of sea turtles and the critical challenges they face in the wild. Move from theory to practice as you roll up your sleeves to assist the team: participate in cleaning the conservation tanks, preparing nutritious food, and hand-feeding these ancient mariners.
Weather and season permitting (typically from April to October), you will experience the magical moment of releasing tiny hatchlings back into the vast Indian Ocean. To further protect their habitat, you’ll also join a guided beach cleaning initiative.
After your rewarding work, you will be awarded an official Volunteer Certificate as a token of appreciation. The experience concludes with a delicious local lunch at a nearby restaurant before being safely escorted back to Ubud. Throughout the session, our staff will provide a mobile photography service, ensuring your meaningful moments are captured while you focus on giving back.
