Description
Begin your day with a hotel pickup between 2:00 AM and 3:30 AM, depending on your location. Bypass the strenuous foot trek entirely and arrive at the base of Mount Batur to board a classic open-air 4WD jeep.
Climb roughly three-quarters of the way up the volcanic terrain in darkness. Settle in at a prime viewing ridge to watch the dawn break over Lake Batur, Mount Abang, and Mount Agung.
Afterward, take scenic pictures with a starry sky as your backdrop. Watch the golden light of the sunrise and capture hundreds of photos with the help of your jeep driver, who is skilled in photography.
Next, take a break at Segara Windhu Coffee Plantation and taste the strongest coffee called luwak coffee. Warm up from the chilly volcano air and enjoy the views.
Conclude the volcanic portion of your tour around 8:00 AM–9:00 AM. Move from the cool highlands of Kintamani down toward the tropical greenery of Ubud.
