Warisan products are represented in major 5 star hotels and resorts worldwide. The company has worked in conjunction with many major procurement consultants and some of the finest design firms in the world. In addition to supplying 5 star hotels, we have been involved in several smaller projects, mostly owner operated.

Warisan started in 1989 as a supplier of high quality antiques in Bali and later modernising to a full production facility in Java. The company has a team of over 400 - craftsman, designers, project leaders, and managers - whose sole function is to achieve high quality with special attention to detail.

MATERIALS

The main timbers available in Indonesia are TEAK and MAHOGANY, purchased from Government plantations (PERHUTANI) and sometimes from private plantations. Since teak and mahogany are not native to Indonesia, we can be sure that all of these two woods are plantation products. We also use INDONESIAN ROSEWOOD (Sonokeling), but as the supply of this beautiful wood is limited, we use it for accents or small productions only.

Other woods used are PINE and DAMMAR, but owing to their lower quality, we use them only in some structural, non-visible parts. Another wood similar to teak in colour, but not as hard is CHINA BERRY (Mindi), that we buy in from small plantations.
