Since opening its doors in 2008, the Chandi restaurant has been teasing its guests taste buds with tantalising treats. Its produce is organically grown by local Bedugul farmers, including spices, roots and fruits with locally sourced soy, temple and tofu. New Zealand and Australia send meats of distinguished quality while the cocktails are mixed with fresh and exotic fruits.
Its popularity has grown quickly, resulting in a second floor and show kitchen being added to the original restaurant. There is even now an additional 8-metre bar where private cocktail parties and tasting dinners are held.
Serving lunch and dinner, there is an array of delicious dishes to choose from. At lunch, the menu is a plethora of traditional dishes with a twist. Choose from honey-garlic chicken noodles, roti wraps or veggie black and red nasi goreng. There's even dim sum!
At dinner there are starters of squid, spring rolls, dumplings and salads, mains of caramelized butterfish, vegetarian platters, crispy duck and lamb shank, sate platters and sate skewers.
For dessert, try the crème brûlée, trio of chocolate mousse or ice creams and sorbets.
Topping off the tasty dishes are the fruity cocktails and velvety wines.
Also available are seasonal set menus, a chef tasting menu, and a Balinese Full Moon Tasting menu.
