Description

This is an easy pedaled downhill cycling tour which will bring you closer to a part of Bali that is rarely visited by tourists. More than just a fun cycling day out, it is an experience of cultural exploration, which will help you to understand Balinese culture and admire the truth of the beauty of the island. While cycling you have a chance to visit a local school for charity program, organic farm with free coffee tasting, local priest compound visit and many unique activities are inserted, simple but will definitely leave a deep impression of your Bali holiday experience. Enjoy a hotel pick up and then drive to the hilly Kintamani volcano area of Bali. On your way, you stop off at the local Village School for you to meet and experience a typical rural Bali school. The supplier donates a portion of your tour cost to purchase essential School work items to the children of the School, which will be distributed to the children during your visit. If you like, you can also bring along some extra items to personally give to the children when you visit the School. You then enjoy a light breakfast, whilst admiring the magnificent view of Lake Batur. After breakfast, you cycle downhill from Kintamani to Ubud, which is duration of approx. 3.5 hours cycle. During the cycle, you experience the rural panoramic areas of Bali while your local, trained guide will explain the culture, traditions and realities of Balinese life and culture. You then take a visit to a local family compound where you interact with the locals. There will be a local priest who companies you with a cup of coffee while having a genuine conversation with the guide as the translator. This is a great opportunity to learn about Balinese family and rural life. At the finish point later you all have Balinese lunch in the Padi Organic restaurant in the village of Laplapan, which is surrounded by Rice paddies. Free return transfers to your hotel is then included.
