Bunuté
Bali
Ubud is a blessed city full of stunning scenery, upscale art and design as well as an endless supply of high quality restaurants, most of which have been founded by the chefs of Bali’s five-star resorts. At Bunuté restaurant, the quality is no different. Here, you can savour deliciously good food and sumptuous, velvety wine.
The in-house chef created dishes through reworking traditional Balinese cuisine into his own unique creation. A believer that food is fashion and culture, his dishes are full of colour and creativity. They pride themselves on their dishes, channeling authentic Balinese tastes with international flair. Try the Nasi Panggang, the restaurant’s signature dish, a meal of white rice, vegetables, prawns, meat and spices. Before you think it sounds like a paella, it breaks the mould and is wrapped in banana leaves. To compliment it, choose the ‘berem’ as your beverage, a Balinese rice wine. The wines even line its walls, giving you a large choice to pick from. On some evenings there is live music and singing with the famous MOKO Blues band and the regular Reggae Nite on Thursdays.
Divided into two sections, Bunuté also have a Kafe, where you can wine and dine al fresco, surrounded by the lush garden’s flora.
Combined with impeccable service, Bunuté is a warm and romantic restaurant with exotic flavours and a creative edge.
