Avoiding the kitsch design often found in Japanese restaurants, Kuni’s opts for a simplistic yet serene design, whilst paying particular attention to detail in suitable lighting for its diners. With a garden full of tropical trees and plants, guests can choose to dine alfresco under the stars or in the main room under some cooling fans.
The wide selection of food on offer at Kuni’s ranges from the popular traditional dishes including gyoza and tempura, to the slightly more creative Thai style squid salad or prawn spring rolls. Sushi and sashimi are of course on the menu too, with fresh fish from local waters and Kushi Yaki (grilled food skewers) that teasingly dangle in a kitchen window at the entrance of the restaurant.
