Just a heads-up, some places require a modest entrance fee or a sarong if you're visiting a temple, so pack one or buy locally,supports the community and doubles as a souvenir. There’s something special about seeing Bali beyond the tourist crowds, soaking in its history in a way that feels real and grounding.

And pack a sarong even if you’re just popping into a temple,it’s not only respectful but usually required to enter sacred areas, and you’ll find them sold just outside the sites, helping local vendors.
